A couple weekends ago, praedestinatio, butterballbunny, and I went to Filoli. I’ve never been and I wanted to see it before it closed for the season. If you live in the area, you should go ’cause they close soon!

I totally looked at this photo and wondered why the flowers were so off-center, and then I saw Mr. Lizard.
Bonsai trees.
I don’t know what kind of tree this is but the little fruit thingies are funky.

Filoli has a beautiful rose garden which was kind past its season when we were there. I’ll have to try to go earlier next year to see all the roses in bloom.
Next post will be of my far less beautiful and far more mundane garden. =)
